Museum of the American Revolution Announces Reopening of Museum Shop Under In-House Management, New Catering and Ticketing Partners
April 8, 2026
Updates Set to Enhance Museum Experience for Visitors in 2026 and Beyond
The Museum of the American Revolution today announces the reopening of our Museum Shop under new in-house management, as well as our new exclusive catering partner, Feast Your Eyes Catering, which has taken over management of the Cross Keys Café.
Following 2025 building updates that included the relocation of Revolution Place to the first floor and subsequent reduction of retail space, recent changes to Shop and Café management and products offered are set to enhance and integrate the overall Museum experience for 2026 visitors.
“We want visitors to experience the Museum as a seamless whole — with a consistent level of hospitality, an elevated and thoughtful product selection, and a retail space that feels like an extension of the galleries,” said Allegra Burnette, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer for the Museum. “Recent changes to the management and offerings in the Shop and Café are helping us meet that goal, creating a more unified, welcoming, and engaging guest experience as we head into the 250th anniversary celebrations.”
Updates to the Museum Shop, including the launch of a new online store, feature a slate of products connected to the people and stories told at the Museum. The Museum has put a focus on working with smaller local vendors, craftspeople, and companies for the new product line, including Tin Man Roy, House on the Hill Cookie Molds, Shane Confectionery, and Burpee, among others. The Museum engaged Museum Revenue Partners and Tyson Frantz, Founder of Liberty & Co., as consultants on the move to a self-operated retail model for the Shop.
“Helping the Museum launch an independent retail endeavor was the honor of a lifetime,” Frantz said. “By designing and developing quality products and pairing them alongside handcrafted wares from 18th-century American artisans, the Museum Shop now allows visitors to enjoy a unique selection of items that complement the Museum’s world-class exhibits and provide a memorable shopping experience.”
Philadelphia-based, full-service caterer Feast Your Eyes Catering also signed on in January 2026 as the Museum’s new exclusive event partner and manager of the Cross Keys Café. Counting The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History and Radnor Hunt among its clients, Feast Your Eyes is set to provide exceptional service, exquisite food, and seamless event execution for the many in-house and rental events to be held at the Museum in 2026 and beyond.
For the Cross Keys Café, Feast brings a chef-curated, locally sourced menu featuring hot and cold sandwiches, globally inspired salads, hometown bites, family favorites, house-baked pastries, and barista-made coffees and teas.
“Whether you are a Museum guest, a fellow Old City neighbor, a visitor to our city, or just hungry for good food and drink, we want to welcome you in to the Cross Keys Café,” said Feast Your Eyes Catering Owner Anthony Lehman. “With a sun-drenched dining room, seasonal outdoor seating, and friendly staff, Cross Keys is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and savor the moment.”
Additional 2026 enhancements at the Museum include the launch of a new ticketing solution, Ticketure, also in January. The change culminates efforts to provide a consistent, superior digital user experience for both onsite and online visitors and supporters of the Museum across its website, ticketing platform, and retail site.
“The Museum of the American Revolution has all the pieces in place to provide a superior guest experience to the thousands of visitors to Philadelphia for 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence,” said Museum President and CEO Dr. R. Scott Stephenson.
