Dr. Danielle Allen, Professor of Political Philosophy, Public Policy, and Ethics at Harvard University, and Dr. R. Scott Stephenson, Museum President and CEO, will explore the history and impact of the Declaration of Independence in an hour-long hybrid conversation at the Newberry Library.

Throughout the afternoon, replica objects from the Museum will be on view, including a recreation of George Washington's tent in Washington Square Park as part of the First Oval Office Project, across the street from the Newberry's main entrance.
