Dr. R. Scott Stephenson, President and CEO of the Museum of the American Revolution, and Dr. Emily Sneff, author of When the Declaration of Independence Was News and guest curator of The Declaration's Journey, will explore the global and historical impact of the Declaration of Independence over the course of 250 years during a lecture at the Newberry Library.

Stephenson and Sneff will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the rare artifacts, art, and documents featured in the Museum's special exhibition and discuss the new nation and the Atlantic world, as well as the Declaration's enduring global impact as one of the most influential political documents in modern history.
